The Fredric Effects Demon Fuzz is a new take on a classic pedal. The late 70s EH Muff Fuzz was a great-sounding mid-gain fuzz with only a volume control to fiddle with. Originals are rare, fragile and expensive, so Fredric Effects have used the basic IC (integrated circuit) Muff Fuzz as the basis for the Demon Fuzz. We’ve upped the gain a touch, and used silicon clipping diodes for a crunchier distortion, and used the high quality buffered bypass from the Kl*n. The buffer is active in bypass, so this little pedal improves your tone whether it’s on or off!
The Demon Fuzz artwork has been custom drawn by Stacey Hine, and is professionally screen printed onto each powder coated enclosure. Creative review liked this artwork so much, they featured it in their January 2012 music issue.
